LA vs Hate Pops Up Across LA County to Uplift Human Rights Campaign
This World Cup season, LA vs Hate partnered with the Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee and 211LA to promote and expand reporting, resources, and outreach to support residents, workers, visitors, and vulnerable communities.
So far, we’ve popped up at 10+ watch parties and fan zones across LA County to reach and educate fans, workers, community members, and visitors on how 211LA and LA vs Hate can provide support on human rights-related issues, including hate incidents, discrimination, workers’ rights violations, immigrants’ rights concerns, and human trafficking.
In efforts to reach fans and communities across LA County, we’ve also deployed street teams, reaching over 200 businesses, bars, and restaurants to distribute posters and resources during watch parties and join the campaign against hate.
Alongside the on-the-ground campaign, we’ve launched an Out of Home campaign – where residents and visitors can find billboards and bus shelters in Koreatown, South LA, East LA, Gardena, and Hollywood. This signage is designed to help to ensure that residents, fans, and visitors most impacted by hate and human-rights-related issues know they can report and get support during the World Cup season.
