LA vs Hate is a program of the Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations, 211LA, AAPI Equity Alliance, and TaskForce. 

LA COUNTY Commission on Human Relations

The Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations works to develop programs that proactively address racism, sexism, homophobia, religious prejudice and other divisive attitudes that can lead to hate crimes, human rights violations, and related violence.

211 LA County

211 LA  provides information and referrals to the services that best meet individual needs through the 24 hour 2-1-1 hotline or through our website. Programs provide outreach and education, service navigation, or care coordination.

Antelope Valley Partners for Health

AVPH seeks to improve the lives of the most vulnerable and underserved groups of Antelope Valley. They partner with organizations and businesses to create a community collaborative and promote health and wellness for children, adults, seniors.

Anti-Defamation League

ADL was founded on Jewish values that inform their work, how they operate and the changes they seek in the world. This means fighting threats to our democracy, including cyberhate, bullying, terrorism, hate crimes, and contempt for anyone who is different.

AAPI Equity Alliance

AAPI Equity Alliance is a coalition of community-based organizations that advocates for the rights and needs of the Asian and Pacific Islander American (APIA) Community in the greater Los Angeles area.

Asian Youth center

Asian Youth Center focuses on linguistically competent education, employment, and social services to empower low-income, immigrant, and at-risk youth, of all communities, to overcome barriers to success.

Brotherhood crusade

Brotherhood Crusade is improving quality of life and meeting the unmet needs of low-income, underserved, underrepresented, and disenfranchised individuals. They envision a South Los Angeles devoid of health disparities, disenfranchisemen,t and poverty-associated adverse public health conditions.

Confluence rising (fka ccej)

Confluence Rising (formerly known as California Conference for Equality and Justice) is dedicated to educating and empowering youth and adults to lead change for equity and justice in our communities. CCEJ’s vision is a world where people live free of oppression and thrive.

Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights

The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) organizes and serves individuals, institutions and coalitions to build power, transform public opinion, and change policies to achieve full human, civil and labor rights.

Communities Actively Living Independent & Free

Communities Actively Living Independent & Free (CALIF) is an independent living center, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides advocacy programs and services for people with disabilities.

Helpline youth counseling

Helpline Youth Counseling helps build individual, family, and community health, well-being, prosperity, and equity. HYC serves clients and community members with trauma-informed, strength-based, person-centered prevention, early intervention, education, and treatment services.

Los Angeles LGBT Center

The Los Angeles LGBT Center provides services for LGBT people including programs and global advocacy that span 4 categories: Health, Social Services and Housing, Culture and Education, Leadership and Advocacy.

San Fernando Valley Mental Health Center

The San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center is dedicated to improving the mental health of individuals and families throughout the Greater Los Angeles area and surrounding communities.

JQ International

JQ celebrates the lives of LGBTQ+ Jews and their allies by transforming Jewish communities and ensuring inclusion through community building, educational programs, and support and wellness services, promoting the healthy integration of LGBTQ+ and Jewish identities.

The TransLatin@ Coalition (TLC) was founded to address the specific needs of TGI Latin@ immigrants who live in the United States. TLC’s primary focus is to provide TGI people with access to comprehensive resource and services.
