LA vs Hate is a program of the Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations, 211LA, Special Services for Groups, and TaskForce. 

LA COUNTY Commission on Human Relations

The Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations works to develop programs that proactively address racism, sexism, homophobia, religious prejudice and other divisive attitudes that can lead to hate crimes, human rights violations, and related violence.

211 LA County

211 LA  provides information and referrals to the services that best meet individual needs through the 24 hour 2-1-1 hotline or through our website. Programs provide outreach and education, service navigation, or care coordination.

Antelope Valley Partners for Health

AVPH seeks to improve the lives of the most vulnerable and underserved groups of Antelope Valley. They partner with organizations and businesses to create a community collaborative and promote health and wellness for children, adults, seniors.

Anti-Defamation League

ADL was founded on Jewish values that inform their work, how they operate and the changes they seek in the world. This means fighting threats to our democracy, including cyberhate, bullying, terrorism, hate crimes, and contempt for anyone who is different.

AAPI Equity Alliance

AAPI Equity Alliance is a coalition of community-based organizations that advocates for the rights and needs of the Asian and Pacific Islander American (APIA) Community in the greater Los Angeles area.

AAAJ – Southern California

Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Southern California (AAAJ–SoCal) focuses on providing direct services, impact litigation, policy advocacy, and capacity building for Asian American and NHPI communities.

Bienestar Human Services

Bienestar is a community-based social services organization serving Greater Los Angeles. Their focus is on identifying and addressing emerging health issues faced by Latinx and LGBTQ+ populations.

California Conference for Equity & Justice

The California Conference for Equality and Justice (CCEJ) is dedicated to eliminating bias, bigotry and racism through education, conflict resolution and advocacy. CCEJ’s programs are focused on raising awareness, facilitating dialogue, and healing conflicts.

The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) organizes and serves individuals, institutions and coalitions to build power, transform public opinion, and change policies to achieve full human, civil and labor rights.

Communities Actively Living Independent & Free

Communities Actively Living Independent & Free (CALIF) is an independent living center, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides advocacy programs and services for people with disabilities.

LA Commons

LA Commons engages communities in the creation of public art that tells their unique stories and serves as the basis for dialogue, interaction, and a better understanding of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles LGBT Center

The Los Angeles LGBT Center provides services for LGBT people including programs and global advocacy that span 4 categories: Health, Social Services and Housing, Culture and Education, Leadership and Advocacy.

San Fernando Valley Mental Health Center

The San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center is dedicated to improving the mental health of individuals and families throughout the Greater Los Angeles area and surrounding communities.

The LGBTQ Center Long Beach

The LGBTQ Center Long Beach advances equity for LGBTQ people through culturally responsive advocacy, education, programs, and and services including support groups, free HIV & STI testing, legal assistance and more.

Special Service for Groups

Special Service for Groups (SSG) is a non-profit organization that develops and manages programs dedicated to providing community-based solutions to the social and economic issues facing those in greatest need.

Translatin@ Coalition

The TransLatin@ Coalition (TLC) was founded to address the specific needs of TGI Latin@ immigrants who live in the United States. TLC’s primary focus is to provide TGI people with access to comprehensive resource and services.

TaskForce

TaskForce is a creative marketing agency that focuses on driving social change. By working with partners and clients, TaskForce develops the strategic foundation that underpins their goals, the creative assets to express them, and the results needed to shift culture.

Western Justice Center

The Western Justice Center empowers people to strengthen their communities by growing the conflict resolution skills and capacity of youth, educators, schools, and community partners.
