LA vs Hate, a program of the Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations, collaborates closely with the Burbank Human Relations Council (BHRC). We are aware some neighborhoods in the city of Burbank received disturbing racist propaganda flyers attributing the teaching of social justice to negative outcomes for a particular race. These flyers do not express the views of the City, the good citizens of Burbank, or the Burbank Human Relations Council, which reached out to LA vs Hate for assistance in responding to these questionable flyers.

LA vs Hate is a county-wide program dedicated to building safe, inclusive communities. The program supports Burbank’s concerted efforts to express solidarity and community building through the Burbank Human Relations Council’s “Hate Has No Home Here” messages on yard signs and posters. LA vs Hate stands in solidarity with the Burbank Human Relations Council, and the City of Burbank as they continue to build programs of safety, welcome and inclusion for all city residents.
